Cory, a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology, started his twenty three-year career with MGS as a service technician in the Retail Products area. Matt Sweigart, attended Kutztown University, received a promotion to Vice President of Operations. With extensive experience in ERP System integration, Materials & Inventory Management along with leading the MGS Quality Management System Matt is looking forward to overseeing Operations in both MGS locations.
Paul was awarded the Outstanding Young Professional Award at the 2020 NATM Con-ference. This award is presented to an individual under 40 who has been innovative and successful in the trailer manufacturing industry.
Paul is our mechanical design engineer, here at MGS, and has served on the NATM Guidelines committee for the last 3 years. His engineering acumen, attention to detail, accuracy, and research skills have directly improved the quality of NATM’s Guidelines. Although the job is monotonous, the NATM’s Technical Director commented that Paul’s ability to give the same energy at 9am and at 1pm when everyone else faced a post-lunch slump helped to carry the committee forward.
03/13/2019. MGS Incorporated has successfully completed it’s 2019 ISO9001_2015 Surveillance Audit conducted by NQA, a global certification body. The 2015 iteration of the ISO Standard was released with some relatively impactful additions. Addressing Risk and understanding the Context of the Organization are two critical inclusions we were well prepared to address…in fact, we were ahead of the curve. We have been addressing risk at the company wide level, though our Goal and Project Management systems, since 2001 and, formally, at the product level since 2013. A very real understanding of our Context has led many associates to BOD and associate positions within many organizations, both industrial and civic. Understanding that a catastrophe to MGS can affect those we impact, we have adopted a documented Business Continuity System to help ensure we can continue to meet the needs and expectations of our Interested Parties.
We are very grateful for this affirmation of our Management System, our Processes, our People and our Products.
